GENERAL SECRETARY STATEMENT ON CORONAVIRUS

IMPORTANT INFORMATION RELATING TO HEAD OFFICE’S RESPONSE TO COVID-19 IMPACT ON THE FPFK CHURCH MEMBERS AND PASTORS.

Praise God FPFK Family, we hope you are safely kept by the Lord, playing your part in praying for the nation,church families etc.

As FPFK Head Office, we understand the challenging current situation brought by Coronavirus (COVID-19) to our members and Pastors are passing through, including lack of food,rent, airtime among other needs.

Some of our members lost their jobs, closed their businesses and now getting daily bread and supporting church activities is now a big challenge.

To support our members and Pastors, the Head Office came up with a Relief Fund that has managed to get some food donations from Sweden Churches through help of Mr and Mrs Jonas and Josefine Fallsten(God Bless Them).

The General Secretary Bishop Walter Andhoga tasked pastors, first of churches in Nairobi including Gatwekera,Kawangaware, Waithaka, Ngando, Gikambura and Kibera, that comes from informal settlements of Nairobi to be among the first beneficiaries of this food donations.

After phase one in Nairobi, we hope to go outside the Nairobi County once we get more food donations.
REMEMBER, FPFK Head Office is counting on donations from friends, members of goodwill and well wishers to make this initiative a success.

Meanwhile,we have also formed WhatsAPP groups of Regional Bishops and FPFK Pastors to help us in coordinating this initiatives and get updates from various churches on the situation on the ground.

Yesterday, 50 members of Gatwekera and Kibera received the food donations while the rest will receive from today.

We have also come up with a guiding and counselling department, which will be headed by Pastor Francis Mutuku(0713463220/078463220 from FPFK Embakasi and who is also a professional Psychologist.

This was necessitated by the recent announcements by Chief Administrative Secretary for Health Mercy Mwangangi who said during a media press briefing that cases of domestic and gender violence in families have increased of recent.

The FPFK Head Office also appeals for your donation to support our brothers and sisters in Christ.

For MPESA support, we are still working on getting the PayBill Number and once we get it, we shall share here The Head Office will also accept food items.
